Dear Passengers has not launched yet, so nobody has a real route-by-route walkthrough of it. Anyone claiming otherwise is guessing. What this walkthrough does have is every mechanic FLEXUS has actually confirmed, organised so you can walk into your first flight already knowing how the crew is supposed to work — and a clear line marking where confirmed information stops.
Start here: how to play explains the confirmed structure of a flight. Crew roles covers who does what between cockpit and cabin. Co-op answers the player-count question everyone is asking. Tips and emergencies cover what you can prepare before launch.
What Dear Passengers Is
Dear Passengers is a physics-driven online co-op game from FLEXUS, a Ukrainian studio founded by Semen Kozyura. FLEXUS was founded in Kyiv in 2020, has a team of more than 70 people, and previously focused mainly on hybrid casual and mid-core mobile games. That matters because Dear Passengers is not coming from a tiny two-person side project. It is confirmed for Windows PC on Steam, with Steam App ID 4534960. The premise is running the world’s worst airline: you and your crew deliver passengers and cargo while the aircraft, the cabin and the weather generate escalating problems.
FLEXUS describes a shared aircraft where the cockpit and cabin are not separate mini-games. They are one system. The pilot watches navigation, controls, instruments and altitude. Cabin crew handle passenger care, service equipment, aisles and cargo.
That shared-system idea is the real hook. A problem in the cabin can become a cockpit problem, and a cockpit decision can create work for the cabin. FLEXUS has also confirmed proximity chat, meaning distance affects who can hear you. Shouting near stressed passengers can make the situation worse, so communication is part of the game rather than background voice chat.
What You Can Actually Prepare Right Now
If you are new to the game, begin with the Dear Passengers how to play guide. It explains the confirmed structure without pretending we know the full mission flow. For input details, use the Dear Passengers controls page, which separates the known interaction style from the full keybind list that is not announced by FLEXUS.
If your group is trying to work out who should do what, read the crew roles guide. It covers the confirmed pilot and cabin crew responsibilities plus practical coordination habits based only on mechanics FLEXUS has described. For the player-count question, the Dear Passengers co-op guide is the most important page on this site. The maximum number of players is not confirmed yet, and the widely repeated “4 players” claim is an unverified guess based on comparisons to other co-op games, not an official FLEXUS statement.
For practical preparation, the beginner tips page focuses on confirmed ideas: secure risky cargo before turbulence, keep key equipment reachable, avoid blocking aisles, watch passenger behaviour and pay attention to weather changes before alarms force a reaction. The turbulence and emergencies guide takes the same approach: prevention matters more than heroic cleanup, because that is what the confirmed mechanics point toward.
Release, Demo And Specs
Dear Passengers has a 2026 release window but no exact date. Kozyura has said the studio is still aiming for 2026 but will not rush an under-polished build. A slip into 2027 is therefore a publicly acknowledged possibility, not a rumour. The release date page tracks that status plainly.
There is no public downloadable demo right now. FLEXUS has confirmed work on a Gamescom demo for Gamescom 2026, which runs August 26-30, with a public demo planned afterwards. No public demo date, registration form or access window has been announced. The demo guide explains why third-party download pages should be avoided and points back to the Steam store as the only safe channel.
“We are preparing a demo for Gamescom, we will be at the stand with Ukrainian games there. We will release a public demo a little later. Ukrainian localization, of course, will be there.”
- Semen Kozyura, dev.ua exclusive comment, July 15, 2026
For hardware, the system requirements page lists the official minimum Steam specs: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1060 or RX 6600 XT, DirectX 12 and 4 GB available storage. Recommended specs are not announced by FLEXUS.
Why This Guide Is Shorter On Guesses Than The Others
The game announced on July 14, 2026 and passed 1,500,000 Steam wishlists within days — 500,000 within hours, 700,000 within 36 hours, 1,000,000 after two days. That scale of attention arrived before anyone outside FLEXUS had played it, and a wave of guide pages appeared to meet it. Several state a fixed co-op player count. Several imply a public demo exists. Several are written as though the author has flown full routes.
The rule here is simple: if FLEXUS has confirmed a detail, it goes in. If FLEXUS has not, the page says “not announced by FLEXUS” or “not confirmed yet” — and that applies to release date, price, recommended specs, maximum co-op player count, full controls, achievements, route lists and level names.
What This Walkthrough Will Become
After launch this site expands into route walkthroughs, emergency solutions, control diagrams, crew checklists and achievement help. Until those details are official or directly verifiable in the released game, they will not be invented here.
